Preparations are under way for Delview’s 28th Annual T4G Canned Food Drive with some changes.

Since 1992, staff and students have been collecting food items for community food banks such as DeltaAssist and Surrey Food Bank. Each of these organizations feed many in the community and count on the school’s donation. Delview’s Thanks For Giving is the LARGEST one night, school canned food drive in BC. The original goal was to collect 10,000 food items in one night. We have unbelievably exceeded this amount! Last year we raised 16,290 food items and $1000.00 from our Silent Auction . Many families in the area rely on this support every year. This year’s Thanks For Giving will be held on the evening of Wednesday Oct. 28th, from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm.

This year students will not be going door to door. Instead, we will be having a drive thru in the school parking lot! Just enter into the parking lot entrace and you will be direct to a station for canned goods drop off.

We also have a drop-off box outside the front of the school during school hours.
