Kindergarten Registration (2021/2022)

Kindergarten registration for the 2021/2022 school year will be held from February 16-23, 2021. Registrations will only be accepted ONLINE.  In early February, instructions and a link will be available here which will take you to the On-Line Registration portal.

**Due to space restrictions, Gray will NOT be accepting KN Non-Catchment and Non-District Applications for the 2021/2022 school year except for those students who have siblings already attending the school. Families that fall in this category, please contact us for more information on how to apply.

Please have the following documents ready to upload with your child’s registration (all documents must be received for registration to be accepted):

  1. Proof of birth date for the student (birth certificate or passport) (registration will not be accepted until proof of birth date is received)
  2. Proof of citizenship for both the parent and the student (Canadian birth certificate, citizenship card, passport, landed immigrant document, permanent resident card)
  3. BC Services Card
  4. Proof of Residency (Property Taxes – current receipt, purchase/rental agreement or rental receipt)

Grades 1 to Grade 7 Registration (2021/2022)

After February 1, 2020, Gray Elementary is pleased to accept registrations for the next school year from families and students who are new to our catchment. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be accepting registrations by email.  Please email the signed Student Registration and Parent Declaration Form and Student Emergency Release Form with all the supporting documents to gray.elem@deltasd.bc.ca  If further documentation is required, an appointment may need to be scheduled.  ** Note all of 3 of these forms are fillable.  If you do not have a digital signature, please print the forms, sign them and then scan and attach them you you email.

If you are unable to complete and email these forms and email please call the school at 604-594-2474 to arrange for an appointment to complete the forms in person at the school.

Continuing Gray Elementary Students (2021/2022)

  • Students already registered at Gray will continue for the new school year.
  • Gray students who wish to submit a Non-Catchment Application at a new school, must submit a new Non-Catchment Application and will receive priority in this category if their application is received starting February 1st and before March 5, 2021.
  • Current Gray students who are Non-District students who wish to attend a different school in Delta for the next school year, must submit a new Non-District Application and will receive priority in this category if their application is received starting February 1st and before March 5, 2021.

If you reside in our catchment area and you wish your child to attend another school. A non-catchment application form must be completed. Non-Catchment applications for the 2021/2022 school year will be accepted online only commencing February 1, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. Please fill out 1 Non-Catchment Application form only. If you have a second and/or third choice, please make note of them on the same form and in order of preference.

  • Non-Catchment Application Form (2021/2022 school year) – Available as of 8:30 am on Monday, February 1, 2021.
