To raise funds for the grade 7 year end event, the grade 7 parents have organized a gift card fundraiser. The gift cards are for Primrose Mediterranean Restaurant and Pepperoni Café. 20% of the value of cards sold will be returned to our Grade 7 students!

On Thursday, March 11, staff and students at the Delta School District are holding Roc Your Mocs, an event to celebrate cultural diversity and identity through traditional footwear.
The original ‘Rock Your Mocs’ event takes place annually in November. The campaign started in 2011 in the U.S. in support of National Native American Heritage Month and provides a positive opportunity for Indigenous people to unite and celebrate tribal individuality by wearing moccasins…. It gathers information from parents/guardians/caregivers, teachers and students on topics related to school environment, safety, and achievement. In order to streamline the non-catchment/non-district process the District is continuing to allow
grade 7 students to be automatically approved to their current school’s feeder high school.  This should hopefully eliminate the need for parents to “stand in line” to resubmit new non-catchment/non-district applications.
