Dogs On School Grounds

At Gray Elementary there are students who have allergies to dogs, or have developed a general fear of this pet. We ask the following guidelines be maintained:

• Dogs should be kept on a leash between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Dogs should remain 30 ft from doorways or entrances into the school

Peanuts/ Tree Nuts At Gray Elementary

Gray Elementary is a peanut aware school. We understand that children have a specific appetite, but we ask that parents try and avoid putting peanuts/ tree nuts in their child’s lunch.  There are some classes, with students who have an anaphylactic allergy, where peanuts/ tree nuts are not allowed.

If you need to send peanuts/ tree nuts in your child’s lunch, we kindly ask that you inform the classroom teacher, so we can appropriately monitor and maintain the learning area.

Scents At Gray Elementary

Gray Elementary is a scent aware school. We kindly ask that people refrain from wearing any perfumes or colognes and scented products, as we have staff and students who have scent allergies.
