Gray Elementary will be holding its annual Canned Food Drive from December 1st – 16th.   Our goal this year is to reach 60 boxes of food.

The grade 4s will continue to run the food drive with safety precautions in place. We will be putting boxes in each classroom and when they are filled, teachers will pack them up and store them in the hallways.  At the end of our term, we will be supplying the food bank with all of our donations.

You can help by generously donating unexpired, non-perishable food items to assist families in need. The most useful contributions include grocery staples, such as: dried cereal, pasta and rice; canned: fruit, vegetables, hearty soups, stews, meat and fish; peanut butter, fruit juices, baby food and formula. Due to health regulations we cannot accept home canned items, or items that have been removed from their original packaging.

This year you also have the option of donating online through Munch-a -lunch.  If you would prefer to make a monetary donation to our food drive with your credit card on MAL, please click on your School Account  (not the PAC) and add a Food Bank Donation to your cart.
